1. What Data We Collect
We believe in Accountable Safety for our own business, too. We only collect what is necessary to deliver our services.
Identity Data: Name, Discord Username (ID), and Business Name.
Contact Data: Email address (for invoicing, project updates, and newsletter).
Technical Data: Server IDs, Bot IDs, and temporary access tokens required for the build phase.
Payment Data: We do not store credit card details. All transactions are processed via Stripe, and we only retain transaction receipts for tax purposes.
2. How We Use Your Data
Project Execution: To configure bots, permissions, and channels on your specific Discord server.
Communication: To send the SOW, Admin Guide, and project updates.
3. Data Retention & Security (The "Safety" Value)
Server Access: All temporary Admin roles granted to Building Better Discord must be revoked by the Client immediately after the Handover Call. We do not retain persistent access to your community data.
Sensitive Files: Any backup files or member lists exported during an audit are deleted from our local storage within 30 days of project completion.
4. Third-Party Tools
We use trusted third-party tools to run our business. By using our services, you acknowledge data processing by:
Google Workspace/Drive: For storing the Admin Guide and SOW.
Stripe: For payment processing.
Calendly: For scheduling strategy calls.
Google Forms: For the Intake Questionnaire.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:
Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Request deletion of your data (e.g., unsubscribe from the newsletter).
